Hi! I’m Bettina. I’ve been snowboarding for 23 years, and started splitboarding about 4 years ago. Snowboarding has brought me from the small mountains of NJ and eastern PA, all the way to the peaks of the Sierra Nevada, and back up to the Green Mountains. There have been so many good times, great friendships, and an interesting piecemeal “career” that developed because of this joy that stems from standing sideways. I’ve loved every bit of splitboarding as a “new” chapter in my snow journey, and I’m pumped to continue to push myself and gain more experience and knowledge about backcountry. I love nerding out about gear- from hardware components to packs to layering options- so feel free to ask me any questions! When I’m not out chasing snow, I enjoy hiking, reading, riding my motorcycle, and hanging out with Pearl (my dog) and Sage (my cat).
